The usual story is, join a band, tour the world, make a fortune, marry a model, buy a farm, roll your quad bike into a ditch and retire from public view.

Townsy decided to do it all in reverse.  He rides a quad bike, has a farm, married a gorgeous blond and now wants to make rock music before the quad bike kills him. 

Making any money from these endeavours would be a bonus.

Having been in an industrial metal band in his early twenties*, he realised he didn’t have the social or diplomatic skills required to navigate the music world – or in fact be nice to people in general.  So he took a break.  

Now he has produced a new collection of tunes through his band “Berlin Station”.  The name comes from a brief sojourn in Berlin where an aircraft emergency meant a close escape.

 Subsequently he spent a weekend in Berlin during Pride Week doing his best to act out his Jason Bourne fantasies. 

*often described as a cross between Nine Inch Nails, Gary Numan and Duran Duran!
